Our community is surely something special in that we always seem to band together to have a good time at festivals. Cold temperatures are no exception for us Yoopers! Join us on Saturday, December 3 for a day of fun activities. Below is a listing of the community wide events happening that day. Join us in the evening for the Christmas in Lights parade and for hot cocoa and cookies and a toasty bonfire in the RV Park after the parade. This is a fun, free event that you and your family is sure to enjoy…and remember to dress warm!

8am-10am First Saturday Coffee @ Beechwood Hall

9am-3pm Craft Fair @ Windsor Center

10am-6pm Bake Sale & Chili Feed & Santa @ WIC Library

6pm Christmas Parade @ Genesee Street

6:30pm-10pm Christmas in Lights Celebration @ RV Park

We’re also having our annual Deck the House competition. Decorate your house and enter into this free event. Judging will be December 1 and cash prizes will be awarded.

Looking to do some good in our community? To go along with our Christmas Stories theme, we’re holding a book drive for the Forest Park and West Iron County Elementary school classrooms. Drop your new or gently used children’s books at the Crystal Falls Library, West Iron District Library, Shopko, or the Chamber of Commerce or bring them with you to the Christmas in Lights Celebration in the park. See you there!
