Standard fishing regulations still apply\, but no license is required. \nAs part of Michigan’s “Three Free Weekend\,” visitors can also access state parks and boating sites without a Recreation Passport and ride ORV trails without an ORV license or trail permit. All other ORV rules remain in effect. \nSummer Free Fishing Weekend is the perfect opportunity for families\, beginners\, and seasoned anglers to enjoy Michigan’s warm-weather fishing traditions.
