Residents and out-of-state visitors can fish all inland lakes\, rivers\, and Great Lakes waters at no cost. All fishing regulations still apply\, but no fishing license or Recreation Passport is required. \nWinter Free Fishing Weekend is the perfect chance for families\, beginners\, and seasoned anglers to enjoy Michigan’s premier outdoor activity together. Visit a nearby state park for special programs or take advantage of the weekend to try ice fishing—just be sure to review Michigan’s ice-safety guidelines before heading out. \nThis weekend also aligns with Michigan’s “Three Free Weekend\,” allowing riders to explore ORV trails without an ORV license or trail permit. DESCRIPTION:⏰ Meet Time: 9:30 AM | Departure: 10:00 AM\n📍 Starting Location: Trailhead near the Chippewa Sno-Kats groomer barn at the intersection of Trail 113 and US Hwy 69\, downtown Crystal Falls\n🛷 Total Distance: Approximately 20 miles\n👥 Open to: Members and non-members \nJoin fellow snowmobile enthusiasts for an Antique Snowmobile Relic Ride through Iron County. This casual group ride welcomes riders of historic machines looking for a fun winter outing. \nThe ride begins in Crystal Falls and travels south to Alpha\, where participants will stop to display their machines near Alpha Michigan Brewing Company. Lunch and beverages will be available for purchase at the brewery. The return ride to Crystal Falls begins at 3:00 PM. Trailer parking is available at the starting location. \nAll are welcome to attend; however\, please note this is not a club-sanctioned or Michigan DNR–hosted event. This is a relaxed ride organized by enthusiasts for the enjoyment of antique snowmobiles. \n📌 Important Information:\n• All Michigan snowmobile registration and licensing rules apply\n• Riders participate at their own discretion\n• Event details are subject to change based on conditions \n🏨 Make it a weekend in Iron County.
