July 4th is coming up fast!

The summer is upon us… hard to believe that we are already talking about the 4th of July, but if we don’t it seems as though it’s here and gone in a blink of a eye! 

Both Alpha and Iron River have a lot going on! Parade, fireworks, food vendors and lots of free activities for families.  Not to mention the Bass Festival is coming up too, July 6-7th! Mark your calendars and book your lodging today, rooms are booking up fast.

Why we love the 4th around here…
Everyone and everything seems to be decorated in red, white, and blue.  The smell of BBQ/grills.  Friends and families laughing, kicked back on lawn chairs, watching their kids tackle flips off the docks. The feeling of the wind off the lake, the warmth of the sun.  Tunes playing in the background.  People are happy.  The town is buzzing.  Energy, the whole area is electric with energy! 

So why not pair one of the most celebrated friends and family BBQ weekends with one of the most beautiful places, the U.P.! The chance to have some time off work, visit with friends and family and enjoy the activities that we don’t get the opportunity to do everyday.

With amazing access to water, fishing, water skiing, tubing and jet skiing – nothing says the 4th like experiencing a little lake life!  But don’t forget about the other summer events and activities that we have going on around us for the 4th!
