Thanksgiving Holiday Week

Hello visitors, with the end of the month just around the corner, that means Thanksgiving is just a few days away. In the Iron County area we have tons of activities for you and your family or friends to be part of! On Thanksgiving Day, the Iron County Area has options for people to choose from if they are looking to have a nice meal without the cooking part.

The 12th Annual Crystal Falls Community Thanksgiving Dinner takes place at Guardian Angels Church Hall from 11am-1pm with dinner, music and door prizes for those who attend. If you are someone who would like there meal delivered, they offer that service too! Be sure to call 875-3198 or 875-6364 for information on how to get your meal(s). Also those looking to lend a helpful hand, volunteers are encouraged to call 367-6477 or 875-6364.

Another dinner option for people and visitors of the Iron County Area, the First Presbyterian Church of Iron River is serving a Community Thanksgiving Dinner starting at 2pm. Delivery of meals is also available, please call 265-2018 or 265-2258 for information on how to get a meal(s) delivered. Volunteers to help with the dinner are always appreciated, those looking to help out can call 265-2018.

For those looking to enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner with a view, Ski Brule is serving its Thanksgiving Dinner from 5:30-8pm at the Brule Lodge. Tickets are $12.95 for Adults(18+), $9.95 for ages 10-17, and $5.95 for ages 9 & under. With a menu featuring items such as; turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and more, its such to get those taste buds going! Tickets can be purchased in the Bear’s Den Proshop, Guest Services and at the Lodging Office.

Don’t forget November 28-Dec.1 marks the start of Ski Brule’s Thanksgiving Race Camp! Those looking to gain useful knowledge, information and skills to develop his or her racing potential, than Ski Brule’s Thanksgiving Race Camp should be your choice! Combining the best facilities, coaching and equipment; racers can get a jump start on the ski race season! Fee’s for the race camp are $60 per day or $220 for all four days.
