Winter Sports

Winter is finally underway here in Iron County, ice fishers are fishing, snowmobilers are snowmobiling, and the skiers are skiing! With over 200 different lakes to choose from and over 300 miles of snowmobile trails, Iron County truly is one of the best places to visit here in Michigan. Nothing feels better than a day on the ice, reeling in that 36″ northern pike or a mountable walleye. Maybe even a few stories of the fish you “caught”, theres nothing better than the tall tale of the fish you almost got through the hole but at the last second it got off the line. Likewise though, a day out on the sled riding countless miles through the woods and taking in the scenic views is something just as memorable as that 36″ northern or that mountable walleye. All that matters is what you enjoy, and the best way for you to relax.
