Brule Bash returns to Ski Brule in Iron River on March 21–22, 2026, bringing one of the most entertaining weekends of the winter season to Iron County. The annual event transforms the mountain into a lively celebration filled with costumes, skiing, games, music, and activities the whole family can enjoy.
Visitors can expect a colorful scene across the slopes as skiers and snowboarders arrive in creative costumes to take advantage of one of the weekend’s most popular traditions.
Many visitors use weekends like this to plan a short winter getaway or test a destination before committing to a longer stay. Looking at lodging options and upcoming events early helps you choose the right location and timing for your visit.
One of the highlights of Brule Bash is the opportunity to purchase half-price lift tickets when skiing or snowboarding in costume. Guests can purchase these discounted lift tickets at Guest Services and must keep their costume on while on the slopes.
Throughout the weekend, participants can also enter the daily costume contest and costume parade, where creativity is encouraged and one lucky winner will receive a 2026–2027 Ski Brule season pass.
Whether you arrive dressed as a superhero, animal, or something completely original, the costumes are part of what makes Brule Bash such a memorable event.
Saturday’s schedule includes a full day of activities happening across the resort.
Visitors can participate in a photo scavenger hunt, enjoy family activities along Bambi Trail, and watch or join several fun competitions throughout the day.
Family activities include:
Bounce houses and slides
Petting zoo
Face painting
Sled dog rides
Balloon twisting
Games and contests such as the Granny Pants race and Potato Sack race keep the energy high, while the costume parade and contest bring everyone together in the afternoon.
The celebration continues into the evening with live music at the Brule Saloon, along with additional activities including tubing, sleigh rides, a marshmallow roast, and a Homestead BBQ.
