Snowmobile Trail Report & Conditions - Iron County

Reporter: Colleen

Trail Conditions: Good

Snow Cover: 12 - 15 inches

Date of Report: March 17, 2026

Following the huge snowfall over the weekend and into Monday, groomers and operators will be out on the Iron County trail system for the next 2 days. Trails are expected to be in good to very good condition.  Warmer weather is moving in again this weekend, so this may be a good opportunity to hit those trails for another good ride yet this season. The snowfall was heavy and wet so stay on the groomed trails to avoiding getting struck in the deep snow. As always, ride right and watch for oncoming traffic. If you happen to see a groomer give them the thumbs up, they have all put in a lot of their time to ensure you had a great winter filled with good trails and safe riding this past season.

Happy Trails to everyone!!

It’s time to play in the snow, so let’s hit those winter trails, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and snowmobile trails are all calling.
