Iron River Michigan & Crystal Falls Michigan Are The Place To Be For HALLOWEEN!

Wondering what to do this Halloween in Crystal Falls Michigan or Iron River Michigan? There’s so much to choose from, deciding is going to be a challenge!

The Crystal Falls District Community Library will be hosting a kids’Halloween costume party on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.There will be costume judging, games and prizes for the winners of each event. The party will end with a Halloween treat.

The West Iron District Library will be having ts annual Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m.Children are encouraged to wear costumes. Prizes, candy and games will be provided.

Group prizes awarded for those having two or more participants

A Halloween Party at the Amasa Museum will be held on Oct. 26 at 5:30 p.m.There will be apple bobbing, costume contest, and a spook house in the upstairs of the museum. Refreshments will be provided and donations are welcome.

 

On Oct. 26, A spooktacular day in Alpha begins in the Porter School Market Place with Pumpkin Fest.There will be trick or treats for the kids, Halloween games and a pumpkin craft for little goblins and ghouls from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. Craft fair vendors will be selling holiday items, gifts and more. There will be apple cider and pumpkin coffee.You can get your picture taken with whimsicl scarecrows in the pumpkin patch and throughout the halls of the historic Porter School.Meet Windy, the Porter School ghost. Pumpkins, gourds,cornstalks and straw bales will be available to purchase.The Porter School Library will host story-time with Mary Ellen at 10 a.m. The doors to Backroom Used Books will be open throughout the festivities as will the Porter School Market Place shops.The weekly farmers market will be also be taking place,weather permitting.Haunted Alpha continues at the Alpha Senior Center with a Haunted House from 4 to 10 p.m. The cost to get scared if you dare is $7 for adults and $5 for kids.The Circle Café will be hosting a Halloween Ball from 7 to 11 p.m. Live music will be performed. Refreshments will be provided by the Alpha Mastodon Fire Department. A cover charge of $5 will get you in for a hauntingly good time
