As winter begins its gradual transition toward spring, Ski Brule in Iron River celebrates the season with one of its most playful events of the year. Brule Bash 2026 takes place March 21–22, bringing together skiing, costumes, live music, family activities and a full weekend of entertainment on the slopes.
The highlight of the event is simple and fun. Guests who arrive in costume can purchase half price lift tickets, turning the mountain into a colorful parade of skiers and snowboarders enjoying the final stretch of winter.
Whether visitors are planning a day trip or a weekend stay in Iron County, Brule Bash offers a festive way to experience skiing in the Upper Peninsula.
Throughout both days of Brule Bash, guests can purchase half price lift tickets at Guest Services by arriving in costume. The costume must remain on while skiing or snowboarding for the ticket to remain valid.
The tradition creates one of the most entertaining sights of the season. Expect to see everything from superheroes and animals to creative homemade outfits making their way down the mountain.
Each day also features a Costume Contest and Costume Parade, where participants can show off their creativity for a chance to win prizes. One lucky winner will receive a 2026–2027 Ski Brule Season Pass.
Saturday’s schedule is packed with activities both on and off the slopes.
The day begins with half price lift tickets available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Photo Scavenger Hunt beginning at 9:00 AM. Participants pick up forms at Guest Services and explore the mountain searching for photo clues. The first person to complete the hunt wins two lift tickets for the 2025–2026 season.
Families will find plenty of entertainment along Bambi Trail, where complimentary activities run throughout the day. These include bounce houses, slides, a petting zoo, face painting and sled dog rides.
Additional Saturday activities include:
Balloon twisting at the Brule Café
Granny Pants race on Bambi Trail
Potato Sack Race
Costume Contest and Costume Parade
Live music from the Pink Violin Band at the Brule Saloon
The celebration continues into the evening with a Homestead BBQ, tubing, sleigh rides, a marshmallow roast and music.
