Experience two days of unlimited trail riding during Free Snowmobiling Weekend Michigan 2026, happening January 10–11, 2026. This annual event allows riders to explore Michigan’s winter trails without the usual registration or permit requirements. Free Snowmobiling Weekend Michigan 2026 is open to both residents and visitors, making it an ideal time to ride with family and friends.
Enjoy access to more than 6,000 miles of DNR designated snowmobile trails, along with approved public roads and public lands. This weekend gives experienced riders the chance to introduce new riders to the sport and enjoy some of the best winter terrain in the Upper Peninsula.
