AMA Sanctioned District 16 and Superior MX Series points both days. Saturday August 23rd will be the U.P. 2 Stroke championship. All the regular District 16 and Superior MX Series classes and additional 2 stroke classes with custom awards. Sunday is an AMA Sanctioned State Championship. Enjoy Michigan’s Summer Free Fishing Weekend on June 13–14, 2026, when everyone—residents and out-of-state visitors—can fish anywhere in Michigan without purchasing a fishing license. Free ORV Weekend gives riders the opportunity to explore Michigan’s designated off-road vehicle routes without an ORV license or trail permit. Iron County visitors can take advantage of nearby ORV trails and forest routes while enjoying a summer weekend in the Northwoods. All standard ORV rules and safety regulations still apply.
During this special June weekend, Michigan waives the Recreation Passport requirement for entry to state parks and boating access sites. Visitors staying in Iron County can enjoy easy access to nearby state parks, trails, beaches, and waterways while planning a summer getaway in the Upper Peninsula.
Senior Days at Camp Batawagama offers older adults an opportunity to experience camp activities, community connection, recreation, and time outdoors in Crystal Falls.
