The fairgrounds are divided into two areas. The Upper Grounds include the historic Rotunda, Horse Arena, Bernhardt Building, carnival area, and many exhibits. The Lower Grounds, located near Bachman Park, host major events at the Grandstand along with the Mud Bog field.
