The long wait for the ski season is over! Ski Brule is officially open after the days and weeks of anticipation. This past October has been the warmest on record, which is either good or bad, depending on what you prefer. Anyway, Ski Brule has been open since Nov. 22nd and will be open daily! If you love to ski and/or snowboard, you have to check it out. Even though they are open, the temperatures are still unseasonably high (Thank you El Nino).
I’m curious to know, what are your thoughts about the current temperatures? Do you like the warmer temperatures for your hunting, or do you prefer to have some snow on the ground? Now, from most people I have spoken with, the warm temperatures are a nice surprise. However, for those that love to ski and snowboard, this past October and current November have been painful. Watching the weather channel you can see Colorado and even the lower portion of the Midwest has been getting hit with snow. News that make ski lovers beyond jealous.
I also want to quickly mention the response the photo of the bird on the gun received on Facebook, WOW! Close to 70,000 people have seen that photo, an amazing response to a photo that looks unreal, to be honest. That bird has some guts.
Anyway, the start of the ski season is here, winter is almost is full force, and there are a ton of fun winter activities to get you through the cold temperatures. 🙂
