The Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center, located in Watersmeet, has begun its summer operating schedule. The Visitor Center is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Ottawa Visitor Center provides an excellent source of information about the local area and recreation opportunities such as camping, hiking, canoeing, maps and more. On Thursday evenings the center hosts free summer programs.
