As summer winds down, the music heats up in Alpha for the End-of-Summer Blues Fest set for Aug. 29. The music of motorcycles will be heard before the blues music starts with the annual Vets Freedom Ride. Cori Sieger Memorial Volleyball Fundraiser
The eighth annual Cori Sieger Memorial Volleyball Fundraiser will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Chicaugon Lake Inn on County Road 424. Pre-registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the double elimination tournament starting at 9. The entry fee is $50 for a four- to six-person team.
