Bye Fall, Hello Winter

Winter is coming in fast.  Iron County will soon have a very different feel about it.  The hotels will be filled with snowmobilers, skiers and hunters.  We have so many great winter activities here. Some thing for everyone.  Multiple lakes for great ice fishing, land for hunting and the perfect trails for snowmobiles.  We also can’t forget about Ski Brule and all the winter activities they have to offer.  17 ski/snowboard trails and 11 lifts, allowing the skier of an ability the perfect trail.  If skiing or snowboarding isn’t really your thing there is still a lot to do.  Ski Brule has 33km of cross country trails/snow shoeing trails and 30km of fat biking trails. Fat Biking is the fastest growing winter sport and gives the summer bike rider something to look forward to once snow falls.  They will have rentals available, so stop on out and give it a try! Take the kids tubing on Whitewater or got to the Homestead BBQ and go tubing as a family there.

Iron County is one of the most beautiful places in every season but winter brings in people from all over to enjoy what we have to offer.  We are lucky to call this area home.  With our vast amount of lodging opportunities you can find the perfect location for your family.  If you want to be right by the lakes, ski resorts, snowmobiles trails, right down town then we have you covered!
