    Enjoy Michigan’s Summer Free Fishing Weekend on June 13–14, 2026, when everyone—residents and out-of-state visitors—can fish anywhere in Michigan without purchasing a fishing license. All inland lakes, rivers, and Great Lakes waters are open for free fishing. Standard fishing regulations still apply, but no license is required.     Free ORV Weekend gives riders the opportunity to explore Michigan’s designated off-road vehicle routes without an ORV license or trail permit.
