November 1st already! Ski Brule has set their target opening date for November 11th. The resort is hoping to be ready for skiers and snowboarders in just over a week! Opening Day tickets are FREE! Typically Log Jam, which is an intermediate trail, Bunny and Bambi are open for opening day. Bambi will be covered with boxes and rails for skiers and snowboarders!
Daily Lift Operations are scheduled to start on November 21st but until then Ski Brule will be open Friday through Sunday from 9am-4pm. Monday through Thursday they will be closed so that they can work on getting snow made on the other trails to open the entire resort as soon as possible.
For many midwest skiers and snowboarders Ski Brule’s Opening Day has become as tradition. Getting early tracks, weeks and in some cases a full month before other resorts open, is a big deal! Ski Brule prides themselves on being the first to open and the last to close in the midwest!
With November 11th being their target opening day they are telling guests to keep an eye on the website and their Facebook page for exact details as they may change. Could be sooner, could be a little later. All depends on the weather.
